Our lodge room is one of only three remaining such rooms in the United Kingdom!
Originally built in 1921, the lodge room serves as the home of the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes in Carlisle and District. We currently have two lodges; the Currock Lodge which meets every Thursday, and the George Lavery lodge meeting once a month on Saturdays. The lodge also hosts the Provincial Grand Lodge (PGL) meetings for the district, as well as various other councils and sub-groups within the order.
The lodge room is open for meetings by any social club, including of course any RAOB lodge, but also Masonic lodges, the Orange Order and any other order established for the public good.
